Obviously GPS feedback can be a huge advantage in training and I figure this shows up at the elite level. Which elites use such devices in training?

Ryan Hall, Americans fastest and only 2:04 Marathoner, does.
Outside of Africa you'd be hard pressed to find many that don't.
Rudisha.
Hall and Kastor have both been sponsored by Garmin and used Garmins.
I expect Nike athletes have to use a Nike watch/GPS and I assume have been given them but I can't recall any specific instances.
in Kenya they just train, they don't care about mileage. For example if they're supposed to run for an hour they run for an hour at whatever intensity coach says and don't care how far they ran.
