On the surface the last year looks like a year Uceny and Willard-Pierce would like to forget.

Spot on coach.
We will never get 100% of the truth but as Ive heard it T was fed up.
Ego's , attitudes and of course lots of experts. It will never be an overnight fix no matter who the coach or sytems implemented.
What we do know though is the UK distance training system has proved out to be one of the worst in the world for a developed nation if not the worst.
Dan Pfaff also came back to the USA after one year (and producing a gold in the LJ for the UK). One of the issues for people from the US might be that you have to live there.
I wonder if the reason for Morgan's sudden recovery was that she found out the she and her coach were both going home?
No question weather didn't help matters for T or his athletes.
Wonder if the old formula will be back in place of altitude along with Oly training center at sea level ?
Just remember TM became an elite coach, never mind a first time coach, a very very short time ago.
Lots of ego, some learning, but no long term perspective. Cripes, he had women in tears at the same time he had them on the Olympic team. What kind of life is that.
Still no word if Jenn Rhines is returning to Mammoth with him. Just those two fast young chicks. Hmmmmm.

Hard work is the most important thing. I think the scientists just get in the way of the process.
Fudge and Jones are trying to explain oxygen economy and the factors influencing it. The problem with that is their lack of knowledge of factors outside of their studies. In other words they don't really know, they are just guessing.
I noticed that the coaches were asking them some good questions, which weren't always answered.

Can you ask him why he specifically mentioned Barry Fudge's work with Mo Farah.
Maybe I'm reading too far into it, but that could be a dig, as in saying that Barry plays such a crucial role, perhaps an illegal role.
Maybe mahon discovered the inner workings?
Morgan Uceny has retired. I would be interested in her views about Terrence Mahon though.

Double gold from Farah not enough?
Did he really have anything to do with that
Mahon knew AL SAL was dirty....
AL SAL was dirty when he was a runner himself. Fried his entire adrenal system.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
