I'm a rising senior and I have PR's of 49.9 in the 400m and 2:02 in the 800m. I want to achieve 48.5 in the 400m and 1:57 in the 800m. From my freshman year to now I have dropped for 55 to 49 in the 400m and from 2:25 to 2:02 in the 800m. I really want a track scholarship so im trying to get my times down. As for my training I have been running about 4 miles a day about 3-5 times a week. I lift weights every now and then and do a little speed work about once a week. As for breaking 2 in the 800m, is this enough mileage or do I need to amp it up? I am running indoor also and I plan to run below 2:03 the first meet and start from there. So I would like you alls input on what I should do as far as training and how to drop my times
