No one believes that.

No, sad is the spin that drives your belief system. We’ll see how durable it is.

I day traded Amazon and made $100. Hurrah.
I'm a net seller of stocks tho - I think everything has lined up perfectly for the last year or so...hard to see another year of that.
meanwhile we have a loose cannon in the WH and all kinds of potential probs around the world.
One thing that is working for me is buying micro caps doing biz only in the US. little rocketships, those things.

rule #1: never trade options.
My first second manager said “the easiest way to lose a paycheck is to trade your own account.”

I actually managed to make a little money off Tesla. I correctly guessed their price would continue to go up since people care more about meme CEOs than, ya know, catastrophic money hemorrhaging

How long do you plan on betting foolish behavior will be rewarded?

Even your manager knew you were not to be trusted with money.

Hopefully at least through tomorrow so I don't get trampled. I'll probably reverse my position on Monday since people will come to their senses over the weekend (or not and I'll get my eyes ripped out). Then Elon will tweet a few times and it will sky-rocket again. Not sure how any of you guys are staying sane on non-401k type long positions. I'm not going in on anything longer than like a week out

Some still believe that buy on the dip works, but the casualties have been mounting lately.

Do you have data to support this? My understanding is that people have been doing quite well lately buying on the dip.

We know how your belief system is working. Not very well for 3 years and counting.
Right now I'm hoping the jobs report is strong. Should send the market into a tizzy

I love self-depreciation.
