Inquiring minds want to know!!
With no PRs in recent years but a clearly improved kick to win races, this will be a real test of what Salazar has actually done for Farah.
He did 3:33 in 2009 - has he improved at ANY distance under Al?
i already posted some estimates
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=5282689&page=0if mo runs 3'29 or even dips into 3'28s, i woudn't be surprised 1 iota...
he has the 10k er at 26'46
he shouda smashed the 5k er of 12'49 when running 12'53 with a drivellous 2'38 4tk
he shoud aim at cacho's 1500 er of 3'28.95
i don't think any guy has held both 1500/10k ers since probably nurmi
aim for the 1500 one & pick up the 5k later at a canter...
Drivellous 4th km! Excellent. You should be on Universal Sports.
3:32-3:33 today.
I think Mo is close to Kiprop and Kiprop is going to run fast. 3:30-31

3'28.59 !!!
4'44.25
7'19.31
12'39.37
26'32.48
the last set is likely to give some posters here also an irruption !!!
just don't be shocked if mo blasts thru 3'30
if he wants it, he can do it
let's just hope it's not just another awful 2'37 at the bell...

Ventolin does not even believe his own drivel.
Ventolin $20 says Mo does not crack 3:31 today. What do you say, old chap?
I'm in too. I'll bet ventolin $50 Mo doesn't break 3:31 today. We can make the transfer on paypal this afternoon.
I think that he'll go 3:32. I think that he may be in faster shape than that but he's not accustomed to 1500m tactics. I don't think that he'll break 3:32.

nonsense
caveat : if mo gets dragged thru in 2'34, you have a bet

Bah, won't put his money where his calculator is...ever
Ventolin is a goddamn genius. I'm honestly impressed.
BOOM
Wow Ventolin I was way wrong. You could have made $70
Looks like Ventolin was right on the money. 3:28,81

Credit, where credit is due. Nobody but you would have dared to predict this, but you were right
If there's a legal (or at least safe) way to gamble on this I'm in.
Mr. Obvious should be banned.

Last time this race was discussed, I didn't have disbelief in Mos ability to race the times you suggested, but I had no hopes for a fast enough pace, but damn did they actually deliver today. What a fvcking race!
Kiprop 3.27.74 and mo 3.28!
Dissapointing by the Americans, Centro 3.33 high, didn't even show results for Nick and Leo.
Symmonds promised 3.32/3.33, but even in the 1500m put himself to far back...
