I was born in a vegan family and never ate meat before, but i always liked the smell of bacon and steak when it was being cooked going pass a restaurant. Just to let you know im 17 right now and do xc and track and run 1600 4:57 and 3200 in 10:06. I want to turn up this season since its gonna be my last high school xc and track season and i want to see will eating protein will actually make me a lot stronger and faster that is the main reason. But a month ago i saved up some money and went to a restaraunt without my parents knowing and ordered me a steak. It was so good but later on in the day i felt bloated, and sluggish with stomach pain and low energy. I tried to go run and noticed i felt a lot hotter than usual and sweated more. After that i never tried it again but did some research. on transitioning with small portions. but im just wondering did anyone get significantly faster after eating meat again?
