I'm watching Serena play right now. That woman has strong legs for sure.

I think definitely Serena Williams. She's super explosive athlete.
what makes you think she has strong legs? is it because they are big? we've never seen her demonstrate any sort of quantifiable explosiveness (timed run, measured jumps etc).
I see bigger legs on girls daily.

Lol. Maybe it is more than them being big like your daily girls. Maybe it has something to do with her being a world-class athlete in a sport that requires explosiveness and quickness....and having big, muscular-looking legs. Maybe something like that.
I don't know though... I can't speak for the OP.
Let's be honest, Serena is a tough dude that could handle Rupp in any way she wanted. She could make a man of him, and then make a woman of him (and don't pretend you don't know how that could happen).
rupp simply because he's a male

No chance.
Males have a huge advantage in upper body strength but very little advantage in lower body strength for the same size. Serena's legs are twice the size of Rupp's and undoubtedly twice as strong.
You're mistaken, buddy.rupp's LIFE is sustained by his legs. they are Olympic-class.serena's is mainly upper body, hand-eye coordination, overall timing, game strategy, mental planning, and low down on that list is 'leg strength'. tennis isn't body-building, it's agility and quickness, she doesn't squat 1000 pounds or anything like you imply she does.

I also think it´s Serena, Rupp can rather lift his own weight more often but not

Honestly, I'd have to go with this.
I agree. I say Rupp.
Kid, listen up. D1 coach here. wrote:

Hey D1 coach, you realize that bodybuilding is not about being strong, right? And you also realize that long distance runners have weak legs. Otherwise, they would be running shorter events.
Serena Williams reminds me of one of the James Bond movies from the 90s where the hot chick villain kills people by wrapping her legs around them and suffocating them to death.

You have absolutely no clue. It would be Serena. And it is not close.
another vote for rupp, not because he's rupp, but because he's male.
some of you watch to many movies like GI Jane..
Rupp all the way and then some!
Rupp all the way on this one. Just even thinking about trying to compare the athletism of any tennis player to that of the greatest distance runner that America has ever produced is just completely stupìd.
In addition to his extra terrestial endurance, Rupp has world-class sprinting ability gained through Alberto Salazar's superb strength coaching and plyometrics programs. There is just no way any male or female tennis player would get much more than 50% of the total that Rupp is able to rack up on the leg press machine.
Wow, this is probably the most extreme case of group ignorance that I have ever witnessed.
The correct response to the later title of this thread is that either of them could comfortably leg press Mo. He only weighs about 135.
