GOAT GOAT GOAT
Woohoo! Awesome W800m.
Cain is a monster!
Smart race hanging back and then picking the runners off!
1:59.5 unofficial.
It's beyond dreadful. It used to be the case when we had no decent runners that all they would mention would be the Americans. Now, when we have good and interesting runners--both fit Martinez and Cain--they don't emphasize them at all. Wouldn't it be nice to know how fast each came through 400.

Not easily
I'll say that much
Dang Mary! I started tearing up when Cain got the flower!
Mary Cain is an absolute talent, she will go places!!! The winning lady (jokes please) is 20 years so some competition is expected.
Salazar, please no thyroid medication for her, please.
Me too--Alyssa is a class act.

Nice to see she finally cleaned up those eyebrows.
Two IAAF A standards for Cain now. The best USA distance runner for women now is a 17 year old
How fast did Brenda run? Must have been close to 1:58 flat.

No.
Brenda Martines finished second in 1:58.
She could practically jog the 800/1500 double at NCAAs.
Brenda martinez was the first american to finish in the race
Fantastic PR for her. Odd that the Diamond League website doesn't have the results for the women's 800 up, but has the event after it up. Does anyone have the full results?

Totally agree.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
