So I'm running a 5k road race this Monday and I'm coming off a pr of 9:44 for the 2mile in track. I want to know what my mile splits should look like. Should I try and hit 5:15's all the way through? Or should I take out the first mile fast? I've been doing consistent mileage since track ended 2 weeks ago. Am I in shape to run sub 16:30 or even 16:20? (The course is relatively flat maybe an easy hill or two.)
