Scary thing is thats not completely unrealistic. Im thinking what is more likely is a big slowdown when/if Kimetto drops out.
My guess is Kipsang in 2:04:30
Kipsang from Tsegaye Kebede in 2:04'26", effortless in NYC half & will have learnt from the Olympic.
I cannot wait for this, great coverage on BBC with dedicated men's feed too!
Imagine the TV coverage you would get if elite marathoning was popular, individual runner cams etc, no charity sh1t focus all the time.
Awesome day here in the Rift Valley; sun out after days of rain. Got my Sunday morning papers, best-smelling coffee in the world and cinnamon buns ready, watching the build up on TV with friends and family. Love this country, Kenya: nowhere else in the world I'd rather be. Hopefully the actual race will be as exciting as Boston, pity the madness overshadowed it.
Pulling for G Mutai, but my prediction is Kipsang in 2:04:13.
What time does the men's race start?
Sticking my neck out of G Mutai as well, don't let me down bro, I have money riding on this.

science of sport guy said he ran last few kms of course coupla days ago & there is a stiff -ve wind present
if that doesn't drop, there is no chance of a wr
so maybe geoffrey in high-2"03, but if no wind, i agree, he may crack 2"03
no one mentioning women's race
jeptoo ran an incredible 66'11 for 2nd earlier in year
that translates to
~ 2"17-flat potential if her endurance extends fully to the M !!!
'First row sports' (Other), always has the best links up.
Gelana for the women

Jealous that jeptoo is faster than you.
Edna looks like she's expending too much energy, too early.
