i ran my first run in them today and they were great. softest shoe i have ever run in. (usu run in ds trainer and now zoom elite). as for the toebox, it is very big, and it feels like a sock or slipper in the front, extremely comfortable. Although it isn't particularly "stable" you dont slip around in it because the socklike mesh is kind of like a spandex(reminds me of the old prestos)
the only thing i dont understand is the huge heel and the thickness of the front foot. I thought the idea of zoom air was to be thinner and more responsive. if a 1/4 to a half an inch was cut off the bottom of the shoe, it might be the best shoe i've ever run in...or well, if you put zoom air in the ds trainers, that would the best shoe ever.
