Yawn.
Fastest time in the world so far is not a Yawn.
Big PR for Williams and HUGE for Reilly. Williams was 5th in the 10K at the Trials:
Nice interview.
That must have been a heck of a race tonight.
Ha ha, is that ol' bag still running?

Wow, 15:50 is a pretty amazing debut!
That roll recovery contraption must be working!
Ummm. fast and hot.
Have you seen the pictures!
Kudos to Ali and her coach Scott Simmons...good things happening with the ADP. I'm surprised that the letsrun community hasn't taken notice yet, but there have been a lot of fantastic results coming out of this group in the Springs as of late. (Mattie Suver...another relative unknown prior to 2012)
Does any who was at the meet know why kathy kroeger of stanford DNF??
who's matt suver?
Too ready too early. She needs to put her feet up NOW and not continue to race or she will be toast by Nationals. History has shown us that huge runs in March NEVER transfer to the track by Nationals. Jackie Areson looked to be a lock to make the Olympic team last year at this time.
This is typical Simmons though, I predict that she runs the Payton Jordan 10k which will prove my point. Hanging on by Nationals.
Was she a pacesetter? Seems plausible at a "home" invitational.

I respectfully disagree. Being an NAIA coach and following his athletes for years, it has always seemed that he has them ready on the most important day.
Simmons doesn't coach Areson, so I am not sure what you are referring too.
I admit this is a fast time early. These are the results from 2012:
1 Jackie Areson Nike 15:18.31
2 Lisa Uhl NIKE OTC 15:21.56
3 Brie Felnagle adidas 15:22.39
4 Alisha Williams adidas BRC/ADP 15:24.82

Didn't Williams come in fifth--which was huge for her--at the Olympic 10000 Trials? That hardly seems like peaking too soon.
My thought exactly. The way she blew out everyone the last 200, it was as if she was listening in to the commentary where they gave everyone EXCEPT her a chance to win.

How could she be peaked if she won Cal Marathon in December and was 2nd at the US 15k?
It kinda looks like she is just good.
And probably will run the 10k at PJ. She has no A standard there and where are you going to do it as a chick? PJ...
