Hi,
About 5 weeks ago I did a hard track workout of around 7 miles. The calf was very tight and I know I shouldn't have done the workout. The tightness went away during the workout and I was able to post decent paces.
About 10 mins after finishing the workout, the left calf started getting really tight, as if it were 'winding up' like an elastic band. I could barely walk the next day it was so tight.
I gave it 2.5 weeks out and then did a treadmill workout. Again, 40 mins on the mill felt fine. Around 10 mins after, in the shower, I felt the calf tighten up again.
On both occasions I had pain when walking for around a week afterwards (but much worst after track).
One esteemed sports Dr. reckons I do not have CS.
A physio took an ultrasound and reckons it's a 'tight compartment' that needs weeks of massage, but not CS per-se.
According to the coach at my club, Steve Cram had CS, which came on after a session...therefore, I probably have CS...
However, with the exception of Cram in one interview:

- all the links on CS I find say pain ceases when you stop the workout, not the other way around...
Can anyone provide evidence of CS causing pain after the workout? On both occasions my calf has loosened up during the workout and tightened afterwards, whereas classic chronic CS is usually the reverse, right?
Thanks in advance.
