This!
Watches are not just for telling time. They are an important accessory that can really help make an outfit and help you stand out.
May you be at work, casual drinks or just running errands a nice casual/dress watch can really pull an outfit together. I may sound a little metro here, but these little things matter!
Women notice a few things when they first meet a man; eyes, smile, shoes, watch and scent are some of the most important! If you meet a women for the first time rocking a timex and running shoes you are already at a disadvantage.
So what I am trying to say is no, I do not where my sports watch all the time.
You don't sound metro. You just sound like someone who has no clue how to interact socially in the 2010s. I'm not a kid saying this to you, either. I'm older than most here and have been relatively successful in life. I used to think things like nice watches/cars were important. The most important thing is how you carry yourself. There's no substance behind a watch. Or if there is substance, it's insecurity.
