I seem to have a slight high hamstring strain that won't allow me to run very fast or sprint. I am treating it with ice, stim, ultrasound, and straightening, but it still is bothering me when I try to pick up the pace.
Easy running is gotten to be painless, even down to 5:30-20 pace. Is there any way to train my speed without actually running fast while I wait for this to heal. It's been about a month since I've run fast, and I can't seem to do any pure sprints or short rep workouts without it being irritated. Thanks for the help.
Also, I'm 21 year old male training for 5k/10k and do some lifting, lower body lifts when I can without it hurting.
