There have been so many police scenes and legal involvement in movies, I don't know how I'm going to be able to go.
Hated Pulp Fiction, but stayed. Watched it on opening night and thought it would be a huge flop ... guess not.
Have never been more bored in a movie than during "Ed Wood", but stayed.
Walked out of "End of Watch" last summer. Was expecting an action, not relationship, flick. Couldn't take it any more after ~an hour.
BTW - I loved the 2004 Crash movie.
I have never actually walked out of a movie, but I do remember watching Brokeback Mountain and seeing about 10 people leave the theater at the first homo-erotic scene. I looked at my wife and asked her "What type of movie did they think they were going to see?"
I wonder when they are going to bring Alf to the big screen.
*Almost* walked out of Wolf Creek (I'm a girl, don't like scary movies and for me it was very frightening because at the beginning of the movie they said it was based on a true story.)
On the other hand, I saw Crash in the theatres twice. The second time, I took my boyfriend and HE almost walked out; he was repulsed and we ended up getting into a fight over it. Different strokes for different folks, eh?
Last Tango in Paris
Reservoir Dogs. I've since become desensitized to that kind of violence, but, then, I couldn't take it; walked out during the stuck in the middle with you scene.
If I hadn't been chaperoning a bunch of teenagers, and hadn't spent a ton of money on it, and, if it would have made any difference to the people who made it, I would have walked out of The Hobbit. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a movie. We went home and watched LOTR and I, for one, wept a little. The contrast was just too great.

Caligula (the Penthouse cut). I wanted to walkout of Good Will Hunting but I was in LA for the first time and didn't know where to go. I considered walking out during The Hobbit but fell asleep instead.

You wanted to walk out of Good Will Hunting?
Really?
Let me guess, you just like killing and things blowing up, right?
I went to The Dark Knight rises this past July, had an awful experience, ended up running out!
Walked out on Spaceballs. But got lucky, Stop Making Sense was in the theater next door, so traded a sucky one for a great concert flick.
I don't think I have ever walked out of a movie, even though I've seen many bad ones. I have a goal of getting through every movie, no matter how bad they are.
Here are ones I've come close to leaving:
Inception. A dream within a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream. It got to be too much.
Pearl Harbor. I was 11 or 12 and I knew the movie was a dud from the start.
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Don't know how I made it through that one.
The new Red Dawn was an abomination. walked.
It was so bad I don't remember the name. It was just people shooting at each other, apparently some outer space invasion and there was no dialogue. Just shooting.
Only one I have ever walked out of:
The Gods must be Crazy
Last one I felt like walking out of:
Killing Them Softly.

Your handle suggests that you, don't mean il postino, which was a fantastic movie.
Speaking of Costner, Robinhood was one of the very few films I've walked out on. Left about five good friends and met them outside. I had a hearty laugh, first, when I realized Costner was trying to do a British accent -- about an hour into it.
Rush Hour 3...
I liked the second one, especially,
but the third one just seemed like depressing garbage.

Huh? Just curious, what are some movies you liked?
Me and my girlfriend went to see this one movie where this guy tells his girl he's not like other guys, under the full moon, and he turns into a werewolf! She really didn't like it, so we walked out of the movie theater (although I was enjoying it and eating my popcorn). Then, when we were outside, I started singing to her and dancing a bit as we walked along...
Godfather 3. I made it almost an hour.
Splice, with Adrien Brody. I was embarrassed to be in the theatre for that one.
Inception. heard how great it was and most of the movie seemed to be an explanation for all the rules that exist in dream world. Love Ellen Page though.
Sort of not answering the question here, but the movies where I WATCHED the most people walk out were "Requiem For A Dream" and this brutal Romanian abortion movie called "4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days".
Both movies get pretty heavy near the end and I don't think either audience had any clue what they were in for.
