Anyone who already arrived at NYC for the marathon interested in some sort of Marathon workout tomorrow morning?
A couple college friends and I are doing some sort of 6 min pace long tempo in Central Park around 8 am tomorrow morning.
Some sort of group run might be a nice way to blow off some steam and break the taper spiral if you need a couple weeks before a marathon contingency

Where in the park are you meeting? I could see doing this. Or even having a bit of a race. If you and your friends are tempoing at 6 min pace, we're probably all in the same range fitness wise. Maybe a friendly competition followed by some friendly beer drinking?
I've seen Central Park Track Club meet up around 72nd st on the west side near the Daniel Webster statue so that seems like as good a place as any.
Definitely negotiable though (two of us are coming from uptown east and one from midtown west)

I would join you guys but im a tad slower than 6 minute pace for 20 miles.
hey interested, I doubt we would do a full 20 @ 6 flat pace so we're probably about similar levels. I think well plan to meet at that statue at 8 am. I think all three of us have garmins so we should be able to get splits
Looks like W72nd is pretty crazy cause of all the marathon finish stuff.
Lets meet at Eingineers gate at E90th st at 8 am.
