Endurox R4....Checking if Safe?

NCAA testing is a joke. Worry if you get tested by USADA. The safest thing to do is send your sample to a lab for testing. Remember, a cup of tea from Starbucks will give you a positive test result.

Wiseguy is right. Go to Yahoo, do a search for Starbucks+ephedrine. Read what you find.

I don't know the product that you ask about, but you should know that you cannot trust the label on any supplement. If you read stories about athletes that test positive, you'll find that many take a product that appears clean by reading the label. The safest way to go is to stay with food, vitamins, and lots of fluids.

There is nothing listed in the ingredients that is banned.

Amazing fact: "Back in the day", athletes ran very fast times without the use of expensive supplements. In fact, it's rumored that the Africans run fast off a healthy diet and heavy training loads.

Save your money. Take a multi-vitamin, stay hydrated, consume lots of leafy green vegetables, and eat lean red meat on a regular basis. Most supplements just become really expensive urine.

I think Endurox has some merit, but not any more than a glass of orange juice and a banana. OJ is much cheaper.

You are responsible for everthing that goes into your body. Label or no label, it makes no difference. If someone manufactures a morning pick-me-up cereal for your morning breakfast and it has ephedrine in it, not on the label, you eat it, you test positive, you are guilty. Done, end of story.

USADA has a good point. Look at it this way, if they can put ephedrine in Starbucks tea and hold you responsible what will you say do defend yourself if it is in a Whatever Bar?

I don't think that I can even breath the air in a Starbucks without boosting my metabolism. Their coffee, tea, & everything must be spiked with extra shit.

In fact, Frank Shorter has recommended the product. Endurox is nothing more than carbs and protein in a 4:1 ratio with some amino acids thrown in. I am aware that everyone is responsible for what they ingest. Does that mean I shouldn't brush my teeth because of Dieter Baumann's situation?

Endurox is good for allowing your muscles to recover. It is no better than eating a meal within the 30 minute optimal time frame for replenishing your muscles, but it can be a heck of a lot easier to get down. The other posters are correct, there is nothing on the label that is banned and I can't see that there would be anything that would be banned. The purpose of endurox is not a pick me up type affect, it is to replenish what you have depleted in a workout. If you like how it helps you recover, keep taking it and still do all the other things mentioned in other posts.

Endurox was developed by a guy named Ed Burke. He was (he died of a heart attack while on a training ride within the last three weeks) a very well known and respected exercise physiologist.

A google search of either Burke or Endurox should give you some more information. To be safe, I'd be inclined to write to the manufacturer and get someone there to guarantee that there's nothing inside that's not on the label and/or will make you test positive.

i actually tried endurox for about six months but it was like pulling teeth when i would walk through the checkout line. for a college athlete having a job is pretty hard with class and practice. so money in my case didn't come to easy.

after looking at the label on the cannister i found that if i took a common multi-vitamin that had high levels of vitmin E in conjuction with siberian ginsing, i got the same effect. it was a lot less expensive in the long run. but don't get too wrapped up in suppliments in the end they mostly add up one expensive piss. because what your body doesn't use just passes through anyway.

unless your mo green and you inject dead motor neurons into your system. but in that case you only have a 30min window for peak form.
