The Olympics are on and track and field fans are excited and the Brojos choose to pee on our excitement and run a story about Mark Block's attendance at various track meets worldwide and associations with various athletes. Block is perfectly under his right to attend those meets as a private citizen and he can tweet and retweet whomever he wants to. Nothing in Block's 10 year ban prevents this and in fact nothing in the ban prevents him from being a stakeholder in the sports management company which he co-founded. So I fail to understand why this keeps coming up as a story. It is one thing to have an issue with the ban that was handed down for being little more than a slap on the wrist but take that up with track's governing body and stop getting your panties in a bunch every time the man is seen sitting in the stands at a track meet.
