More impressively the fastest in the last 8 years, right?

Holy shit Solomon! A guy who didn't have the A standard until he held on for third at he trials, crying in elation at his 1:44.65 just ran over a second faster?!?! That means he's got a faster PB than Symmonds now. Hat makes me lol a little bit.
Solomon has been on the cusp for SO long. Nice to see him break through.
3000m W. 2 laps to go. Simpson in second
Tight group up front including rowbury
Tarmoh in the money. Grats.
what's the point of getting pacers for womens races?? they never go with them!
disgust.
Rowbury 4.
Cherono for the win. Simpson was chewed up and spit out with 1 to go.
Kibet 2nd
Diriba 3rd
Willis with a new record. Already updated on Wikipedia....
Barringer-Simpson has been interesting to watch ever since she passed out in that cross country race. She's mostly stuck to shorter distances. Seems afraid of the higher distances. She said in an interview the other day that she preferred the 1500 because the pain doesn't last as long.
This is in stark contrast to Flanagan who just the other day said she felt good about the marathon because she can put herself through the torment of the longer race and possibly wear down her opponents.
the female imane merga of the 800m lolll
Semenya jogs for a couple minutes. What a flagbearer
I bet Caster SeMANya is sandbagging and will win a medal at the Olympics.....Sad she is allowed to compete with the women.
I have never seen a 1:58 run THAT way. The Burundian girl is one hell of a talent. I thought she was done heading into the backstraight and she came back on very strong, all while bouncing like a pinball from competitor to competitor. Definite medal threat...if she doesn't get herself a DQ.
