If Rudisha were to run every event from 100m through marathon, rested with his current training, what would he go?
My predictions:
100 - 10.4
200 - 20.6
400 - 45.5
800 - 1:41.0
1500 - 3:34
3000 - 8:55
5000 - 13:25
10000 - 28:40
marathon - 2:11

Hell no.
3 out of 9 ain't bad.
Actually, it is bad. REALLY bad.

LOL
Do you know how hard it is to run 10.4?
100 - 10.9
200 - 21.2
400 - 45.2
800 - 1.43:5
1500 - 3.32:0
3000 - who cares
5000 - 15 minutes
10000 - 33 minutes
marathon 4 hrs +
100 - 10.5

10.9? That's probably his 400 pace. I'm not even going to bring up your 800 prediction.

I would like to revise my prediction. Let's say 14:30 for 5K and 3:34 for 1500.
100m (from blocks) - 10.7
200m ( " " ) - 21.3
400m - 45.2
800m - 1:40.9
1500m - 3:35
3000m - 8:10
5000m - 14:20
10000m - 30:00
Marathon - 2hrs 30 min
100 - 10.7
200 - 21
400 - 44.62
800 - 1:39.5 just like he predicted.
1500 - 3:28
3000 - 8:39
5000 - 13:00 (Rui Silva ran 13:14 the year he ran 1:45.9)
10000 - 30:00( after 5000 oxygen dept would seemingly cripple him
marathon - 2:40
Anything over 5000 meters is really pushing such specialized training.

Running a 10.9 100 and running a 43.6 400 are pretty different things
100 - 10.97
200 - 21.08
400 - 45.5
800 - 1:40.37
1500 - 3:34.5
3000 - 7:47
5000 - 13:19
10000 - 27:52
marathon - 2:10
With specific training, these times would be significantly faster.

How could someone who can only muster an 8:55 3000m run a 13:25 5000m. It's like saying you can only run 70's for 7.5 laps, but 64's for 12.5 laps.
Exactly I really cant believe some people have ever been involved in track when they are so thick.
The 100m through 800m times are easy. When Rudisha has run 45.5 early season he has also been in 1:43 shape. Hence he is a 44.5 400m runner when he is in World record shape.
From there the best 200m to 400m ration you can have is best 200m x 2 + 3seconds therefore his 200m will be around 20.75. In a similar fashion this applies to the 200m aswell his speed endurance means he will be running the 2nd 100m of the 200m approx .8 faster than the first 200m. His 100m time will be in the rance of 10.7-10.8.
So: 10.7-.8, 20.75, 44.5 or 44.3 if he dips under the WR.

Nope.

1500 3.33
3000 8.03

this is the most logical and accurate prediction to me, maybe down to 10.5x in the hundred and 21.1x in the 200 but we don't really know his raw speed
We need the 1000 meter in there too. Rudisha could go out tomorrow and annihilate Ngeny's (doped up) world record, I bet Rudisha could run 2:10 flat.
Also, Rudisha could probably bust out a 3:30 1500 without even changing his training. Dude is that good.
This is a little closer to the truth.
100 - 10.6
200 - 21.0
400 - 45.2
800 - 1:41
1500 - 3:52
3000 - 9:00
5000 - 14:50
10000 - 32:30
marathon - 2:55+ or DNF
How are so many of you idiots listing a 3k time, and then listing a 5k time that is a faster pace than the 3k you listed?
