IMO Geb did it all career. Lagat's doing it. Now I think Rupp's juiced. BTW, Bonds never tested positive. And I'm not publishing, so well in my rights to give an imo that many actually share.

not bad for a guy who could barely have run :52 in an open 400 until this season.
impressive race, but i think we all know he's juiced.
as if he could destroy lomong without a little something extra, haha.
Synthroid(for his hypothyroidism) + Altitude = EPO booast

1. I have an incredible trustworthy source who have been working with big Al's group
2. I have tried, it's crazy how good it works
So really he is doing nothing illegal
Use of hypoxic conditions - Legal
Thyroid Hormones - Legal(need prescription, but not on doping list)
The only thing is that i don't believe he has hypothyroidism, but I am certain Salazar has manipulated something so he can prove Galen has it. But the medicine itself is not on the doping list, so I would say it's kind of in the grey zone.
very interesting dr iron.......
"Acknowledgments
We are grateful to P. J. Ratcliffe ......."
could that be our friend Paula Jane Radcliffe in this clinical trial?!
bump
It's more likely Peter J Ratclifee, Professor of Clinical Medicine at Oxford, who works on "the process by which cells sense and signal hypoxia (low oxygen levels)."
I think there is something suspicious going on with the Thyroid stuff and skirting the laws. If they are not doing this through hard work and dedication, they should be ashamed.

First of all, welcome to 2006. Second, regardless or what he and Lagat may or may not be on, there is a lot of hard work involved.

You mad bro?
I hope Letsrun gets sued for libel/slander. I can't believe the bullshit that's allowed be posted on here.
Plus Albuterol.
Wait...are you posting on the Kip Litton thread, too?

Haha. Oh man. Leave Relgion out of it. There is a sh*t storm brewing around Salazar and all his gimmicks. You don't know the half of it folks. The hunt is on. Just wait.
A real training plan.
Not one that switches every 2-4 years.

Huh?
Wasn't Salazar a high school coach when he found Rupp?
Who else had he developed before that?
Other than Rupp, mostly I just see him make runners slower (Ritz), being unable to work with them (Goucher) or ending their careers (Webb).

That's the problem with letting these anonymous losers post. They can say what they want and get away with it.
There is a local message board where I live. It got so bad with the stupid, young people who just don't get the danger of their remarks that now it is no longer anonymous.
Our local newspaper had anonymous comments for their online articles. Many of the comments were horrible- most, in this case, were by warped, frustrated, extreme right wing old people with nothing better to do than be critical.
Now, you have to register on facebook to comment, it's no longer anonymous and the comments are much kinder and contribute to a lively discussion.
I wish letsrun could do something to get rid of the losers who make anonymous, unfounded accusations.
The above post is right on target. There are no thyroid problem for all of AlSal's athletes or visits to EPO specialists to give even the slightest bit of doubt to their performances.
Salazar gives his male runners drugs fool----that's common knowledge among insiders-what's Rupp's time compared to the world's best? It's nothing--he's got no chance in the Olympics---what's with all this euphoria over his run--he barely broke a 22 year old record?
The big question is, what the Hell happened to Lagat?--just because he's a naturalized US citizen doesn't mean he should run like a US born distance runner.
Rupp's most recent improvements are largely due to having the opportunity to train with Mo Farah. The biggest problem with US distance runners is that the few that get to world class level basically train alone. Sure, they may be in a training group with some up and coming or has been runners who can keep up on a few workouts. But, the top US runners do not have anyone to really challenge them day in and out. Rupp got that when Farah came over to train with AlSal. You can now see the results.

Any devout Catholic will have a significant amount of guilt floating around if they are doing anything that might seem like cheating. I know this is completely anecdotal, but I wouldn't be surprised if being Catholic is a motivating factor to not cheat.
