Only a fool believes a liar like Obama.

Bush would still smoke him. Bush used to have trouble finding secret service agents to run with him. He drop in a sub six last mile.
Y'all need to put my boy barACK! Hussein Chooma Bong (his actual full Kenyan name)in office for another 4 years. I gots to get me some mo' EBT cards! Rich whitey gonna pay!
maybe it's just me but doesn't "jogging" fall under "running"
i always thought all of those movements are considered running whether it's jogging, striding, sprinting. am i wrong? if so, what would the speed of "running" be?

For a fit person, jogging is sort of like walking in that you are just allowing the body to do what feels natural. Whereas running is more deliberate, in that you are telling the body to perform an athletic act...you are aware of pace, distance, your breathing and body mechanics, etc. For me jogging is about a 9 mpm pace, with no feeling of fatigue and thoughts about what I look like and how fast I'm moving. What's interesting is that people on Letsrun refer to anyone who runs 21 minutes in a 5k as a hobby joggers; even when I was a competive runner, 7 mpm felt like running to me, even though I could run that pace for full marathon at that time.
He hasn't had anymore leisure time than any other president in my lifetime. Every single president gets blasted for the free time they take, and of course it's the Republicans bashing the Democrats and the Democrats bashing the Republicans. Seemed that Bush Sr. was ALWAYS at Kennebunkport, Maine, and his son was in Texas probably half of his last year in office. I don't blame them, because they were still working while on vacation, but to think that Obama does this more than any other president is ridiculous.

Not 'some' but 'a lot'. I'm sure he was smoking out on the course, enjoying himself and then went to the club afterwards to enjoy a brewskis while watching some sort of sports on tv. If you don't like the responsibility of being a President then he should have not signed up for the job.
Wejo, I rather not buy his book--no interest. Instead, I rather buy/ read about REAL runners.
There are detailed records of presidential vacations, etc. Look it up yourself.
I agree, but if you think that this is not in response to the left's criticisms of Bush going to Crawford, you are mistaken. Hypocrites, I tell ya!
That said, I, too, would not have his job.
Vanity Fair's June 2012 issue published excerpts of letters to a girlfriend during college. Obama wrote this (he was living in NYC, she was in California):
Moments trip gently along over here. Snow caps the bushes in unexpected ways, birds shoot and spin like balls of sound. My feet hum over the dry walks. A storm smoothes the sky, impounding the city lights, returning to us a dull yellow glow. I run every other day at the small indoor track [at Columbia] which slants slightly upward like a plate; I stretch long and slow, twist and shake, the fatigue, the inertia finding home in different parts of the body. I check the time and growl—aargh!—and tumble onto the wheel. And bodies crowd and give off heat, some people are in front and you can hear the patter or plod of the steps behind. You look down to watch your feet, neat unified steps, and you throw back your arms and run after people, and run from them and with them, and sometimes someone will shadow your pace, step for step, and you can hear the person puffing, a different puff than yours, and on a good day they’ll come up alongside and thank you for a good run, for keeping a good pace, and you nod and keep going on your way, but you’re pretty pleased, and your stride gets lighter, the slumber slipping off behind you, into the wake of the past.
..and you can hear the person puffing, a different puff than yours..
That's my boy Chooma Obama Hussein Bong! He's all about the puffin'!
Yep. It's all tit for tat. Diehard followers of a certain political party are pains in the a$$.

Dissent, disagreement & non-conformity just make me soo...tired. Can't we just have it all removed or deleted?

Damn! I think Obama has been trolling LRC. He's got a thread on the 1st page right now about getting expelled from school.

Considering all the other lies, half-truths and fictional people he made up in that book, I would take the comment with a big grain of salt.

Done. From August, 2011...
"So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.
Among recent presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off -- 28 days.
To be fair, a presidential vacation away from the White House is not the same as a vacation for the average person. The president is still in contact with his advisers and on call for any emergency."
http://www.cbsnews.com/2100-18563_162-20093801.htmlPretty soon Barry Obama will get some basketball photo ops
like he did back in 2008. This will appeal to his black voters. Remember back to 2008? He was never shown golfing.
"Bring in the cameras I gonna shoot some hoops"
It's that time again when he needs to act black.
