In the Dream Mile in Oslo today, Hamza Driouch ran 3:50.90 and he is listed as being 17, turning 18 in November. OK, then....This guy isn't even a Kenyan, and he looks young, but, this is truly amazing. IF true, perhaps the next ElG?

Wow Oregon needs to send this kid an offer ASAP :)
Driouch was most impressive, as he pushed the pace into the last lap and just didn't have the strength to hold his position in final sprint.
For me...he looks like the next Cornelius Chirchir.
The next El G? Even El G wasn't that fast that early, was he?
He ran 3:50.90 for the mile and went through the 800 in 1:51.xx and was pushing the pace. Watch out.
So where's he really from? He's hardly an actual Qarari. Where did they kidnap him from?
I don't know but he looks like he should be in Gitmo
He is actually Moroccan, aslo I have seen his facebook pictures-> he had a full bear when he was "15" :)
That's pretty god damn fast. Jesus...
Hamza comes as well as Mohamad Al-Garni from MOROCCO, Qatar bought them - and DID NOT suspend, because they do middle distance (the other guys are sent back to KEN)

WOW, he can run a 3:50 AND he wrestles bears? This kid is amazing.
He is coached by the world's greatest talent scout and coach. Not only is Hamza a teenage prodigy, but his coach, Ibriham Aden (former somali 1500m runner from George Mason, and then ran as a U.S citizen), also found Abubaka Kaki, and now the Djibouti 19yo 3.30.3 sensation. Aden has to be the greatest scout of talent in the history of this sport. Such amazing young talent from three different countries. Their workouts must be amazing to watch!
That has to be an age record, although I know there are a couple of Kenyans who ran similar times at 18.
More like the next Rashid Ramzi

Are you sure you didn't mean Muhammad?
Well at least he's not falling down in prayer at the end of the race like Nourredine used to do.

I actually thought I was watching ElG there for a minute. This kid is going to be the one to watch, although Kiprop looks tremendous.
