Hi,
Currently I run a 14:00 3200, 6:25 1600, and 2:52 800. I'm a sophomore girl in high school and really need to dump times. I started running this year and found out that I really like it, but I want to get better at it. I ran cross country, with a PR of 24:04, but I've dumped a lot of time since (see my track times from this season).
I have goal times, but I don't know if they're reachable or how to get them, or how long they'll take. My school has a really weak running program (and even with my slow times I have little competition in practice). Could anybody suggest a training program for the following goals?:
1600 5:35
5k 20:30
Is this even possible? My coach would be my stopwatch, but I'm willing to work as much as possible!
