In the past I've heard about Hermens testing positive as an athlete - him being connected to spanish doctors etc etc.
Could knowledgeable people please post links to information about this issue? I'd like to collect all the allegations on one thread so I can learn more about this very influential man in our sport.
heard from whom? Rumors are just that - anyone can spread them, doesn't mean that they are true.
Why would a dutchman care about spanish doctors? No doctors in the Netherlands, or elsewhere in Europe? Just like the Italians (think Canova) must always be doping as well??!!
The english speaking world always distrusts foreigners (ethnocentrism), I can't figure out why they somewhow think they are above cheating but no one else is?
Funny also how few manage to disparage the Americans, yet there is a culture for whom doping would seem to go hand-in-hand.
