He only needs to ask Solinsky about how easy it is to ruin a knee from some random misstep.

Instead of getting something worthwhile, we watch an Olympian and an Olympic hopeful have a snowball fight.
At least they are cross training, right? I mean after all they are running and chasing each other in the snow. It's good to see running professionals who can play hard and work hard. Makes them more interesting to watch or stand out from others. Nothing wrong with that.
haha you guys need to pull that rather large and thick stick out of your asses and lighten up. Nobody trains hard every waking hour of the day. People need to have some fun and keep a good balance and quality of life. And are you kidding me about getting injured doing this? Frolicking around in the snow, sliding around a bit, fake wrestling? I don't remember the last time i walked in from an epic snowball fight when i was a kid, or any other kids for that matter, where i tore an ACL or broke a bone, or anything that would "risk a career...."
And if you are so frail and weak that you are getting injured that easily, chances are you have other things you need to worry about with your own fitness than being concerned with theirs.
No doubt they are still training hard. They're just keeping their morale high and minds fresh and happy having a little bit of fun on the side. Sounds like a few of you could benefit from doing the same.
Agreed. I knew people on this site were lame, but this lame? Wow. I thought the site was hilarious. They seem like cool guys and I'll be cheering for them now, for sure. I hope some of you all don't have kids.
Great site they made! I like them better already.
Loved the video someone posted of Asbel Kiprop pulling tires and getting in a workout in a freaking downpour.
Then we have this. No wonder America sucks compared to Kenya at distance running.

All I have to say is Centro could not be found dead doing those stupid things. He is a serious athlete and takes himself seriously despite the funny persona and the centro nation thing. Damn, centros Dad wouldn't allow it even if centro was stupid enough to risk his running career by rough housing in the snow.
Please.
I am all for the snow shenanigans. A few minutes of jocularity in March is not going to derail their summer season. Sure there could be a "freak" injury, but you can also tear your meniscus squatting down to get something from under your desk. You might as well get out and live.
What disturbs we is that two guys that grew up in the upper valley between VT and NH have such weak snowballin' skills!! Didn't they go out and play as kids?!

Watching Brown tackle Wheating from behind has convinced me that the full contact mile should be added to the T&F event schedule ASAP. It would add a whole new dimension to the event.
aah voices out of sinc comic pay dirt
This is absolutely ridiculous. These two should be ashamed of themselves. They represent the United States of America. They should never be allowed to have fun or live like normal human beings. How could they not think of all of us at LetsRun.com? We all know what is best for them and we all decide what they should do in their free time. They should be running doubles, running in minimalist shoes, and only doing one long run per week. GOSH!
You never see East Africans frolicking in the snow.
Crap, I was wrong. This is awful.
"Kenyan runner has feet amputated after being caught in US snow storm. A long distance runner who spent more than two days in freezing winter temperatures without winter gear has had his feet amputated just above the ankles."
"Marko Cheseto, 28, is one of several Kenyan runners who competed for the University of Alaska Anchorage in cross-country and track. The amputations were reported on Monday on the UAA Athletic Department website."
Why was Brown wearing Shox? Didn't know they still made those...
