Id say anywhere between 2-2:30. Start with 2 and see how you handle it. Maybe after 4 but it to 2:15.
The closer you get to the event, the less recovery.
Get down to 6 repeats with 60s active recovery and you should be there.
8 is a lot at 5k pace. Personally, I'd need about 3 minutes to even come close. But I suck at workouts.
Try splitting the session in to two sets with 90 sec rec between reps and 3min btween the sets, when times have been achieved reduce to 6 x 1k it is more appropriate to what you are trying to achieve.
