I'm a junior in high school who runs the 800m and 1600m in 2:00 and 4:30 and ran between 38-50miles during winter track most weeks about 45-48miles and wanted to increase my mileage to what I was doing last summer which my highest week was 66miles; however, I got a stress fracture during XC from an imbalance and last year I averaged 45-50miles a week so I'm a little more cautious with increasing mileage this year. To cut to th point how do these numbers sound for my spring track season:
42. 45. 45. 52. 52. 52. 55. 59. 59. 59. 60. 60. 55. 45. 42. With an average about 52miles
would greatly appreciate some insight if these numbers look good or if you think there is a better way to increase my mileage without getting hurt. Thanks =) by the way these numbers are just estimates and give or take a few miles depending on how I feel
