That sounds crazy but we just did the preview and I can't think of a time where this many sub 3:30 guys/sub 3:50 guys have been in 1 indoor race in the US.
Here is the sentence: "Correct us if we're wrong but this has to be overall the top indoor mile in the US (in terms of number of sub 3:30 and/or 3:50 guys) since LetsRun.com was founded in 2000."
There are 4 sub 3:50 guys and 3 sub 3:30 guys.
Most of the indoor miles in the US don't have a lot of international competitors. Millrose had Lagat for 9 years so you have one guy right off the bat. Kiprop was in the field one year and I'm sure a lot of other years there was another sub 3:50 guy. Sub 3:30 there aren't that many guys.
I figured someone on here could prove the statement wrong.
The preview is here:

I just realized the US Open this year had 3 guys who have run under 3:30 in their careers although I don't think Lagat is a sub 3:50 miler anymore. But that isn't 4 sub 3:50 guys.
