Who is gonna win it this year? I see a list of scattered runners, Braun looks like favorite?? Any darkhorses for making the team??

I have to say Braun and Ritz are locks for the team. Darkhorses, i'm going at least 3/5 on this I just know it: Ghebray, Gray, Rombough, Landry, Schirmer??

Ritz is no longer in the race, he pulled out a few days ago. Other than that I only recognize a few names on the list, but that is mainly because I don't really follow too much running now these days. I would say that there isn't a clear cut favorite, even with Aaron Braun in the race.
Top five for me in no exact order would be Braun, Mack, Schirmer, Rombough, and Alcorn.
Outside chance to make it would probably be Krause from Wisconsin.
Interested to see what everyone else thinks
Sara Hall is gonna win it all baby!
there is no team to make this year as world xc has gone to every 2 years.[quote]XC NATIONALS wrote:

as mentioned ritz pulled out.
Top 5 go to NACAC.
Molly Huddle if she is at least slightly healthy.
This is a joke of a national championship. Why they are having this race this year is beyond me. Worst course and field possibly ever! The course is flat and boring.
Typical of a poorly done high school race where you cram a 2k loop into the smallest space around athletic fields. Much better courses are available in the St.Louis area like Jeffersron Barracks and Edwardsville.
The field lacks the real competition to be considered a national championship. I really don't see anyone in the field making it next year when things really count.
Where is it being streamed live?

You are an idiot. You think they decided who was going to end up showing up at the race when they put in the bid to host it? Its not their fault that none of the big hitters showed up. Having this race in preparation for world xc the following year is actually a very beneficial move because it promotes xc. Yeah maybe they could have picked a better spot to host it, but its not their fault that the big dogs are too good to come race when its not a world qualifying year.
Feed went down. Great.
Of course it did. It's runnerspace and they're typically a joke.

Why are the holding the US championships in cold/windy midwest to qualify for a championship in Trinidad?
Alright Bobby Mack!

Actually, they did a pretty good job. A heck of a lot better than Flotrack at Washington last night.
I wouldn't know since I'm not sure what flotrack promised. But I know runnerspace promotes live feeds all the time only to crap out. Before the races begin. Either poor reception abilities or batteries going dead on cameras. They have been a dissappointment each time I've been interested in watching.
Did you watch today? I started watching during the junior women. In that whole time there was about 10 seconds of black screen during races. Last night night Flotrack had a black screen for their entire air time, though they seem to have fixed the problem today.
Sadly I have little interest as all of our best runners are not running it.
Anyone know results of the Men's race?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
