Who is Dawn Grunnagle for Nike OP??

Was she wearing the Nike Oregon Project kit? Isn't she 35years old about with a PR in the 5k of about 17:02? I don't understand if she is w the NOP how they are going about recruiting.

Yes, she was in Dallas for a while. Never met her, not too friendly but had a overly zealous husband but he is no longer listed on her Facebook. OK looking enough that someone with the Nike Project took notice. Her PRs are in the 17/35 range for 5/10.

If you have never met her, how can you say she is not friendly. She is very friendly as is her husband. OnOn.

Yes, we havent met officially but have been around her at the Dallas races and tried to congratulate her and got nothing. Maybe she was told not to by her yelling husband.

Dallas used to be a close knit community and still is withthe guys but has experienced a bit of chick snobbery as of recent.

Dawn Grunnagle,(Dawn Charlier), lives in Texas but is training in New Mexico for the Olympic trials this June. She and her husband are two of the kindest and friendliest people you could meet. (and he is still listed on her facebook) I'm not sure where all the rude comments are coming from - totally unwarranted.

My wife and I met her at a race in San Antonio a couple years ago, and her and her husband seemed really nice and down to earth. But since this is letsrun, I'm sure someone will speak up who saw her murder a kitten or something. We spoke to them for about 10 minutes without even a hint of snobbery or whatever this douche above is going on about.

Agreer, are you running for Nike? Training for the 2012 Olympics? I'd guess probably not. You might want to consider getting over your "middle school" issues and leave the jealousy at the door. Pitiful...

The group of women in Dallas is much deeper than the mens. It would be good to see another top level type be based here since the days of Francie Larrieu, Mary Knisely, Joy Hansen and others are gone.
