Wayne Angel of Wichita State distance head, will be going to Iowa as distance coach.
Layne Anderson has resigned at Auburn as distance head.

Interesting...I'm a midwest guy and I never heard that Iowa was needing a new distance coach. Not that I was paying that much attention...

UMKC has just announced the hiring of Irv Ray as head coach for both Track and Cross Country...Irv has coached on the NAIA level for years but should do well at UMKC (University of Missouri @ Kansas City)

If Iowa got a new distance coach, isn't that their 3rd distance coach in the past 2-3 years? Or is this just a new men's distance coach?

Wayne is going to be the women's CC coach at Iowa, as www.goshockers.com reports, but www.hawkeyesports.com has nothing on it so far, so don't bother unless you want to hear about Steve Alford's legendary basketball clinics.
