Source? (Since the Shayla Houlihan rumor here was false).
A member of their track staff.
I know nothing about the assistant coaching issue.
watson-kentucky. mark that off the list
Watson is not going to kentucky but it would be pretty funny if he jumped ship already! Really though - not happening!
Pigg to kentucky. he knows SEC: Florida, Georgia, and now KY. Only time before he goes full circle to Missouri (also in the SEC!)
Pete Watson to Kentucky, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Pete Watson will coach at every SEC school by 2014, SIMULTANEOUSLY.
He's a wizard.

Nah he isn't that good of a coach, probably would bring a plethora of Kenyans over, like how he tried to get a European and African for Virginia. Great coaching Pete
Pete Watson was never at Florida or UGA.
Pete is there to stay at UVA. Thread ended.
Why are you so set on saying Watson to Kentucky? Does it really help you sleep that much better at night? There is not a chance in the world that happens. Please just find something better to do.
It's getting old to Kentucky. Official.
Where is stackhouse landing? Kentucky?
Let's keep the message board to jobs, and not get personal with things. What have ya'll heard about UNC and UFLorida?

If you're having trouble finding a volunteer position, you haven't asked enough coaches. There are plenty of schools that aren't near their limit. You might just need to expand your search to some smaller schools.
I don't wanna come off as lazy or anything but if you could suggest maybe some schools to contact i'll get on it asap. I have been emailing a lot of programs. maybe i should start at a smaller school, i just figured the bigger ones would be better for my resume though its obvious that those will be much much harder to get due to competetion.
Again, I don't want to sound lazy but i figure you have more knowledge about this than i do and just would like your advice on this more. Thank you i appreciate it.

A lot of small schools out there with up and coming coaches there that are willing to give somebody a break like they got. Do some research.. Like a previous poster said a lot of coaches had to put in years before they got their break. Got to start somewhere.. If you aren't willing to pay your dues then your in the wrong sport.
Catch on with anybody then start making connections. Thousands of coaching candidates out there. You want to put yourself in front of the rest you got to do something to put yourself out there.
how would you suggest i go about this research? Your advice would be greatly appreciated
