This is just a quick kick-off to our weekly thread, since I'll be heading to the Finger Lakes Community College for the championship race of the Upstate XC Series. It's a tough course, especially when the men's race distance is bumped up to 8k. But it looks like a fine day for running.
My training this week was a little inconsistent due to spending three days in training and having to squeeze runs into a busy schedule. One good workout: two sets of (800-600-400-200) with 200m recov within the sets. The 800-600 combo in the second set was tough, but fun.
