I made tremendous strides this fall and now I'm backing off the intensity (fewer speed workouts and fewer tempos) and increasing the miles from 45 mpw to 65 mpw in hopes of a good late spring/summer/early fall 2012, too. Should I incorporate one hills session weekly? If yes, why? If no, why not?
I'm an older guy, so this is not for college or high school or whatnot.
