Just another IAAF attack on women's athletic in an attempt in an attempt to marginalise the perfomrances. Allowing a mediocre 17 yo boy to compete in the 800,now this. The IAAF should quit screwing around and just do what they intend and that is to get rid of women's athletics.
Excellent knee jerk, absurd reaction/conclusion! The iaaf got crucified for considering banning Caster from women's races, and many of those doing the crucifying were women! (maybe not the women she was competing against, but women nonetheless). Talk about your no-win situations, but yet you conclude that they did this "marginaliZe" women's track and field?
And women's track is here to stay, especially since so many of the participants so wholeheartedly embraced that concept that racing in your bra and panties makes you faster! More non track fans watch track now because of that than any other reason. The only ones possibly diminishing women's accomplishments on the track, are, the women themselves (since some seem to prefer the attention they get for reasons other than their performance. They took this cue from women's beach volleyball and literally ran with it).
