OMFG!!!!!!!
OMFG!!!!!!!
Who were all the POS's who were arguing with me that Blake had not arrived?
Eat it!
He will CRUSH Powell, in particular, next year.
he would crush bolt right now! at any distance.
I didn't even see Dix's time.
Even though he was owned, it looked as if he ran a good race.
Like I said, the big 3+1: Bolt, Gay, Blake + Powell.
Even I didn't see THAT coming. I had picked him in 19.6x
Unbelievable, we very nearly saw a WR in the 200m!
WTF? So much for Bolt being infinitely ahead of everyone, ever, in the 200m.
Old Geezer b4 you guys start cumming all over youselves remember ths 19.19 running a total of 8 race in less than a week....
that did not look like a 19:26!
There's something wrong with their clocks
My jaw is still dropped. That was shocking. Someone needs to put up a lot of money to have Blake and Bolt race head to head now.
Dix ran 19:53
It would be damn close between Blake and Bolt at any distance right now, I think they are just about exactly equal.
Which is phenomenal.
Blake has, with this run, breathed life back into sprinting.
Sure, he might have beaten Bolt this year at the 100m, but everyone believed that Bolt could, and will, get better for the Olympics and other big meets.
But NOBODY saw this coming. 19 f-ing 2 6! That is a serious holy crap time, essentially as good as Bolt AT HIS BEST.
Uh-oh...so, no positive tests from Daegu, eh?
Now I believe, with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, that the fix is in, as I described in another thread.
Whatever.
If that was a real time - he made it look like a walk in the park
Unreal.
reaction time 0.269!!!
Wow, 19.53, I knew it was good, but that seems a bit much.
Maybe the clocks WERE wrong.
It's very difficult to imagine a 19.26 produced essentially in the second half of a race, while being even with others at the 100m mark. Blake winds it up very well between 70-100m in the straight 100m, I'm delighted he was able to stay in control for this run.
Dix 19.53! Holy crap!!!!
Maybe the 200m will be the marquee event next year
Bolt, Blake, Gay, Dix, Lemaitre!!!!!!!!
What do you mean the fix is in?
0.269! WHAT?
ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT WAS A F-ING WR RUN IF HE HADN'T FALLEN ASLEEP IN THE BLOCKS????????
Do you remember Michael Johnson's face when he ran 19.32? Total surprise. He could hardly believe it.
Do you remember Bolt in Beijing? He strained all the way to the line, saw the time and threw his arms in the air. He was surprised.
Blake today? No surprise. He had what appeared to be a bad start, did not lead at 100m, then blew past the World Championship silver medalist who was running a lifetime best. And he wasn't even surprised.
I wonder why?
Miserable start for Blake, Dix looked great early on, but Blake shot off the turn like a cannon. I'd like to see the last 100 split compared to Bolt's WR.
Is he eating the same yams as Bolt now?
I mean that Jeter hasn't been caught.
Now some guy named Yohan Blake, who is about the same size physically as me, has a WR run in the 200m, a PR by, what, half a second, after averaging something like a 9.84 corrected this year?
The fix is so totally in.
Amazing run, though!
If you're going to dope, you might as well win, or run a WR race!
