I think they might already have a job....
Is this officially the worst-kept secret on the planet?
Moving to Columbus and looking after the baby
So jobs opened....and some big ones...
UVa - distance, sprints, throws
FSU-sprints
Wright St-distance
Albany- Ast. distance
Miami (OH)- Sprints
Anything else? Looks like the end is near....if not already finished
WVU?
Richmond has a track and field position open.
What event area is Richmond looking for?
the post has it as knowledge of track and field. So they are looking for the best possible coach that will be able to work with multiple groups.
I have to add. that the Head coaches are Distance oriented. So they are not looking for a distance coach.
Has she left yet or is she still there?
USC-Upstate has apparently made their "short list" so expect interviews there soon.
Anyone have any word about Campbell? Is it done yet?
Bowling Green?
Lamar?

I have no idea what happened to the thread. I know during high traffic times - Weldon sometimes disables old threads - so the board doesn't crash, but I think it was somehow deleted by mistake. The remove post and remover thread button are right next to each other.
I've asked him to put it back up but he's coming back from Korea. Once it's deleted , it honestly may be gone forever though so we'll see if there is a resurrection.
I thought they alreadybhire a husband and wife team for 2012...
That is true. Caldwell mr/mrs team was hired. Check roster. He is a former FU athlete and big wig at Nike. I think that is how the mysterious donor was recruited.
As far as I am concerned this is a nice choice. It speaks to all the "know it alls" who posted other options.
I think Furman made a questionable hire...but hopefully they realize that those kinds of the coaches are all a place like Furman can get. No one from Duke, The Ohio State, Georgia type coaches would go to Furman.
Does anybody know if interviews have started or are finishing up at any of these schools?
