I'm in Palo Alto for a few weeks at Stanford. Where are some good places to run near or on campus. And where do the cute runner girls run?

Just run the campus. Campus drive for example. You'll see girls out there especially once school starts up again.
Angell field is a nice track.
Run "the dish". Those are the hills and trails west of the campus. Just ask any local. They can point you in the right direction.
Try out Rancho San Antonio Open Preserve. It's not far from Stanford. It has miles of great trails. I run there all the time.

Depends on what you are looking for, trails abound.
If you are looking for "soft surface," there are a few options but many of the soft surface trails are short. The best option is the Eucalyptus grove across Galvez from the track. It is about a mile loop of wood chips.
Another good option is to run along side Stanford Ave, which at times is either a dirt path or bike trail, run towards Junipero Serra (South/West). When you get to Junipero Serra look to your left and you will see a dirt path along the INSIDE of the fence between campus and Junipero Serra, follow that trail along the inside of the fence along Junipero Serra and then Page Mill.
Off campus soft trails can be found in Bayland nature perserve, Arastedero Park, or in Atherton alongside Middlefield Road (north of Oak Grove Ave).
If you like asphalt trails, do Campus Drive (best for ogling coeds), or the bike paths alongside San Francisquito Creek off of Sand Hill Rd, or do "the Dish" if you want hills.
I suggest Alpine Trail which heads into Coal Mine Ridge
Alpine trail start about a 1/2 mile or so West of 280FWY. It is parralel to Alpine Rd. As you pass 280FWY heading west, you will see the trail on the left, its starts as a paved walkway, then wraps around a small park. This is a softball field park that is a good place to begin. There is parking. The trail crosses the street at this point and eventually crosses back over. As you head West on the run, skip the first few turn offs to the left (like Sweet Springs and Deer Path trails). Turn left onto Toyon Trail (its just after old spanish trail). Knwoingthe park you can creat a great loop that somewhat minimizes the hills, but since you dont know the trails, an out/back might be best.
The Toton trail will eventually lead you to a big tree and a junction of 4 or 5 other trails.
Maps on the web and in print are not abundant.
I am gueesing from the parking lot to the tree is about 4.5 miles. The trails are mostly shaded. Gradual climb out with just a few moderate climbing stretches and a few fairly flat sections. For the Alpine trail, there are a couple of short sections where the trail is the shoulder of the road.
LOL. Stanford is one of the most urban campuses in the USA. Good luck trying to run on or around campus.
I'll tell you where to run... A TREADMILL! RUN ON A TREADMILL! Retard.
Treadmill running is better for you anyways, you get more out of it.
If you have some means of transportation, go for a run at Huddart Park. Trails are soft and well maintained, it's a beautiful area to run in (lots of old growth redwoods) and stays cool when everywhere else is hot.

How's the parking situation at Huddart? Specifically, on a Sat or Sunday morning at, say 8AM?
Just park at woodside elementary and run the horsetrails on the side of the road until you hit the park.
