You say we should stop talking about what he did in high school and look to what he \"will\" do this summer....well the point is that no matter how much potential he may have...and he is great...he hasn\'t done anything close to his high school times in year\'s...and the keg thing isn\'t a problem but is porbably something that should be left home.

3. video and photos of a human beheading

4. violent rap and metal music

5. violent tv/movies

6. videos and photos of torture and humiliation

whether or not alan was drinking isn't really an issue. whatever my thoughts are about running+alcohol, he'll never hear them and he's old enough to make his own life decisions. what IS stupid, is that he brought a keg to a college track meet when he clearly knows that everything he does is publicized. Unless he was the beer-garden-on-wheels, it was just dumb.

Go to the IAAF archives, and take a look at the story on Bekele and his XC wins from a couple of years ago - I'm too lazy to look it up right now. KB sat down and ordered a pitcher of beer, which he tanked down while speaking with the reporter.

Steve Ovett was known to knock back a few pints after a race, as was John Walker, Mike Boit, Rod Dixon, on and on. Henry Rono like to imbibe also. He let it get the better of him, though.

Stop worrying about Webb having a few suds. You guys keep training so you can be able to someday run a 3:53 1200!
