Qustion from a recreational runner. Just ran a 10K event and managed to make 39:02. The thing is the first 5K feelt easy and went 18:56, then I had to strugle alot and lossing my tempo. I think that I probably is just lacking the endurance for the 10K distance, and my question is at wich speed should i train when running tempo to be faster at the 10k? (Have done halfmarathon at 1:26:15.) My milage is somewere around 50K per week.
