Hello I am a recent High School graduate who ran XC/track for 3 years. Sadly my best year was my junior year even though my senior year I thought I was eating better/training harder and overall putting in more time( although my mileage did not increase).
Now after taking a break I refuse to believe that I can not run faster than a9:57 2mile and a 4:38 mile. I would love it if anyone could point me in the right direction of books or tips for great stretching exercise, running routines, and how to have the most efficient/effective workouts as possible(that is different from having the most difficult workouts), also I feel I need a abb routine so I can fine tune my core.
So in conclusion, are there any book/internet sources or human resources I can go to or discuss how to further my fitness.
I am interested in how the human body works as well and what can I do to become the best self coach I can be.
If you have any further question please ask.
Thank you for reading this. Your time is appreciated.
Sincerely,
A runner who wants to be the best he can be.
