Looking back at my winter training, there were two weeks where I had to run alone, so I just mileage and long runs. During some of my regular runs, I couldn't help but to run relatively fast (5:50 or so pace) for up to 6 miles or so at times. It just sort of happened. Is this what guys like Malmo mean when they say run based on feel? Because there are certainly times where I just sort of unleash during a run for God knows why. I don't know how many times I've been bored, so I run the last 800m or so of my run super hard just for the hell of it. Is this what running on feel is instead of having planned hard runs?
