We did a session of k reps on Tuesday, 3 of them fast with fairly short recoveries, as a couple of us are trying to lower our 3k PBs (aiming for as close to 9:00 as possible) this summer. Our club has a series of opeen track meetings but the 3k at the next one is after 9pm and none of us think we will run at our best that late in the evening. The other chances to race are in the track league but often the races are tactical or just slow and hard to get a decent time in.
Seeing as neither of us care about getting an 'official' time we're going to do a time trial on the 21st. It'll be me and another guy, with someone to pace us either to 1500 in 4:30 or just for the middle k. We'll try and get others involved.
