Greetings, friends, and Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in the group. At the risk of sounding boring, I can report on another mostly positive week with only a few niggles (the same ones). Again I was able to get in 20+ actual running miles (no fluff). The hammy has improved but there is still an echo of achyness on occasion. The groin still speaks to me periodically, but has not interfered with my running other than some occasional temporary soreness. To be safe, I am continuing to avoid exercises that might exacerbate those situations.
Also on the health front, I had my first Zoom conference with my primary care office. Most is good, but the LDL was a bit high as was the diastolic BP. The cholesterol has been an ongoing thingy (I’ve been on a statin for 18 years), but the BP issue is new. I’ll make some dietary changes and hope for the best.
