After nearly 5 months of some ups and downs with training and generally feeling off at races (post Chicago Marathon), finally had a solid day there.
But first, last week I did 3000 and 1 mile at 7000 feet elevation in 11:27 and 5:51, respectively. Letsrun altitude experts would predict, what a 19:30 5K at sea level off of that, right?
Result was 18:24, 90.9% age grade. Had a good day, 2nd in age group and 3rd overall in age grading.
Good running everyone! And hang in there to those who are having some health and injury setbacks.
