Does anyone have some examples of schedules followed by Aouita when he was shredding the world, or perhaps even when he was advising the Australians? Perhaps Mark Fountain frequents the board, or Malmo has some pdf files with the aforementioned?

Mark has posted here in the past.
The was on old thread with his entire training for the Australians. A lot of quality. I don't think Aouita ever run much more than 60 miles a week. His training was patterned by Coe. He definitely didn't have many tempo runs over 10k and did a lot of 300-600 meter repeats.
I do recall reading where he once started a workout with a 13:30 5000. I'm sure that was rare.

Here is an article by Frank Horwill where he says Aouita trained like Coe but needed longer recoveries than Coe:

I have no idea of the accuracy of Horwill's article.
Frank Horwill was the mentor of deanouk.
He had some interesting things to say but I doubt he'd be the #1 choice to listen to regarding MD training regimes. I think he trained Hutchings. But Peter Coe, Harry Wilson and especially Jimmy Hedley were better coaches.
