I have been told that I am a mild over-pronator, and I also have runner's knee problems. I currently run in Brooks Adrenalines. My normal mileage is 35-45 per week, but I am down around 20-25 right now. I am not fast, in fact you might say I am slow -- at my best I am a 4 hour marathoner, 1:45 half. Is there a better shoe anyone can suggest for someone like me? Has anyone had success fighting runner's knee with more supportive shoes? On the other side of the spectrum, has anyone had success fighting runner's knee by going with minimal shoes? Next week, I will get a gait analysis from the U. of Wisconsin Runner's Clinic, and I will definitely ask them for a shoe recommendation. But I would also appreciate some input from the LetsRun community. Thanks.
