Did anybody read the "A piece of string..." coaching article? Why do the BroJos feel the need to put that BS on the front page?
Seriously, that article was terrible. Obviously there's no magical shortcut, or everybody would be doing it and then we'd be back to square one vying for a competitive advantage. Obviously to improve you need to work hard.
The question of "how" to work hard is a valid one, though. No matter how hard you work, not all training will bring you to the same place. There's a big difference between looking for a shortcut and looking for other ways to supplement your training, which are things that a veteran coach may have experience with.
